Just
Jack's 2006 hit 'Starz in their Eyes'
is the basis of a nice lesson we've developed looking at the
perils of the modern celebrities catapaulted into the spotlight
by shows like Xfactor and Big Brother.
The students will consider what it means to be a celebrity
nowadays and what they would like to be famous for.
Bedouin
Soundclash are a 3 piece band from Canada
who have recently finished a tour of the UK to promote their
new album. Their last album, Sounding a Mosaic, brimmed with
reggae-pop tunes to fill you with summer beats and their new
album - Street Gospels is out this summer.
We've uploaded an interesting lesson which will take students
on a journey to Guyana in South America. The resources follow
the documentary music video for the Bedouin Soundclash song,
Gyasi Went Home, which is based around, Eon, the bass player's
journey back to his homeland of Guyana.
The students will learn about this fascinating country and see
how the lyrics to the song tell the story of how the country
was exploited by colonisers, like Sir Walter Raleigh.
Fall
