eBay is one of the world's most popular websites. With separate
eBay sites in over 33 countries worldwide it is now possible
to buy almost anything either new or second hand through
this amazing auction website.
The popularity of eBay in the UK also demonstrates a little
of the British culture and interest in classified advertising
and car boot sales. The British are happy to buy almost
anything second hand. For example, my ESOL students are
always gobsmacked at the fact that we would quite happily
buy a second hand pair of shoes!
This eBay lesson provides you with an excellent lesson pack
of resources to teach students the basics of how to use
the eBay website. Students are introduced to the key vocabulary
required to navigate the site and are then given a challenge
to find selection of Christmas presents for £100.
